Following the conclusion of the TF: Cybertron series in late 2006 and prior to the release of Movie related figures, fans were treated to a sub-series of Transformers self-dubbed, "Classics". The classics line features new takes on original G1 characters, mostly in original forms. It's the first time that Megatron was released with a gun alternate mode since 1984. It is also the first time that the mini-cons are explained to have interacted with this generation. With the exception of Jetfire, most unfortunately have not been featured in comic or cartoons, it is easy for fans to simply imagine these as new forms of G1 original characters... |
