Prior to 1996 toys with the name Transformers were just that, Transformers, without subtitle other than those attributed by fans like "G1" or "G2".  Much to the chagrin of classic collectors Autobots & Decepticons were replaced with Maximals & Predacons.  We too were skeptical at first but like most "G1" fans we were quickly won over with these extremely high quality toys & outstanding new shows.  Beast Wars was an immediate success & Transformers again became one of the hottest toy lines of the late 90's.   The box pictures of each toy below are links to character pages for each toy.  Hope you enjoy these, now-classic, toys who started the BEAST WARS!
