Powermaster Optimus Prime and Scorponok versus the "Hordes of Unicron!"  What could be better?  Well, I admit, it would've been much better if these stories followed the continuity of TF:TM and the shows but hey, beggars can't be choosers and this was the only way to follow TFs latest adventures!

issue #80 END OF THE ROAD! by: Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, Stephen Baskerville The final issue of Marvel Comics Transformers G1, sigh.  It features return of Optimus Prime and many loose ends are tied up (quickly). We thought we’d never see another TF comic again, but...

It was a sad day.  When Transformers #80 hit the shelves  we learned it would be the last issue; "number 80 in a 4 issue Limited Series."  Little did we know, that some 12 years later G1 Transformers would be the hottest comic on the shelf again!  Good things to those who wait!

Transformers:Zone would only see the release of one episode. This is the final episode of G1 in Japan.
