The self-described  "tiny terors of the turnpikes."  This frantic foursome's primary role is to reconnaisance battle sites before the Autobots' big guns arrive.  Fast and fearless.  Don't mind mixing it up with any early-arriving Decepticons.  A vital component in the Autobot ranks.  Adept at using their superior maneuverability to harass the enemy.

Other Appearances:  Like all the Micromaster teams, the Race Car Patrol made zero appearances in the U.S. cartoons.  Unlike most Micromasters, they did make numerous appearances in the U.S. TF comic series by Marvel (including the my least favorite comic cover of all time!)  They may have also made appearances in the Japanese Transformers cartoon series, but I haven't seen them.
